In March 2012, George and I started selling healthy living food at local Farmers’ Markets under the name Cedar Seeder. We grew the food in our small backyard with organic seeds and soil, following a holistic approach that is in balance with nature.
The markets are wonderful! We absolutely love being able to meet people, share our growing practices, and answer questions.
Last fall, our vision and our consciousness expanded and, even though it scared us a bit, we decided to purchase a 3.67-acre garden center from a retiring gardener. With limited resources and plenty of sweat, we are turning the Center into an ecologically sustaining, abundant paradise that will nourish your body, mind, and spirit.
We are using biodynamic farming practices to create a wonderful blend of gardens, orchards, and vineyards where something will always be in season.
We are also incorporating serene sitting areas as well as a seven-circuit labyrinth underneath a 100-year-old oak tree. The labyrinth, which is at the heart of the property, is a calming place to nurture and center yourself.
We’re gearing up to open in Snellville, Georgia, in the Spring of 2015. In the meantime, we invite you to stop by for a tour as the wonderful transformation of the Center continues.
Although the Center won’t officially open until next spring, we still offer live and “same-day” produce and other products as Cedar Seeder at local Farmers’ Markets in 2014. We hope to see you at the markets or the Center soon!
